(Mostly) Wordless Wednesday:

Day 267: Swingin'
Michael and I have been letting the boys play in the backyard by themselves while we are fixing lunch or dinner. Sunday while fixing lunch, I looked out to see Tate strapping Mayer in the swing and pulling him back to let go. Once Tate showed me it was secure, I let him continue. I got a few pictures inside before I went outside for a few more.

(Not So) Wordless Wednesday: More Fun at the KSF

 Day 253: 38 Special concert
For the past 21 years I have been an usher for at least one show in the grandstands at the Kansas State Fair. I have seen some amazing concerts! Unfortunately, I don't have very many pictures and the ones from my phone aren't very good. My brother and I worked the 38 Special concert.
 Day 258: Heart concert
This is the second time I have seen them. I heart the Wilson sisters.
Day 259: Jake Owen and Billy Currington
Jake Owen is even better looking in person! Billy Currington was the first barefoot performer I have seen. He was also the first musician I have seen bring his dog on the stage.
 Day 260: Family time
We went to the fair early Sunday morning. 9 AM isn't that early, but we wanted to beat the crowds so we see the exhibits and animals better.
 Annual train ride
 I LOVE this picture!
I think the boys milked every fake cow in the fairgrounds!
 Life underground exhibit
 Future Jayhawks?
Things around town get pretty crazy during the fair. I'm glad it is only once a year for 10 days!

(Not So) Wordless Wednesday: Kansas State Fair

Day 252: Carousel Ride at the Kansas State Fair
I wanted a family picture on the carousel and my brother tried really hard, but it just didn't happen. At least you can see how much fun we are having together!
 making rockets at Do ARt
Mayer waves at everyone like he is in a parade!
Tate chose one of the obstacle courses and Mayer chose the ferris wheel!
 Mayer and Pa
He was so excited the carnival worker let him keep his tickets.
Tate earned 5 free ice cream cones by answering some farming questions correctly!  Mayer was thankful...

Wordless Wednesday: Wait For Me!

 Day 247: Wait for me!
When Mayer realized Tate and his cousins were swimming without him, he grabbed his life jacket and took off towards the beach. He looked at me said, "FWIM!" (swim) Then, "MUM!" (come) because apparently I wasn't moving fast enough.

Wordless Wednesday: Sunday Road Trip

Day 239: We went to visit Mamaw and Papaw at the farm.
Potty break about 10 miles from our destination.
I love that the sign above Mayer says "DANGER."

He dropped a seed down his shirt.
