When a family lives as close to each other as mine does, there is a lot of sharing. My 2 siblings and I literally all live within 9 blocks of my parents. It has been by coincidence and most of the time we all feel pretty lucky to have the resources (aka babysitters!). Unfortunately, the sharing extends to germs too.
I rarely get sick, but the stomach flu hit my family hard. It started in my sister's family on Christmas day! My nephew and youngest niece both got it, followed by my sister and brother-in-law. Then my sister got it again, which is when I must have caught the germies. It bit me early Thursday morning. I thought I could beat it, but I was wrong! Then I shared with Michael, both my parents and my brother. So as you can imagine, our new year has had a rough start. Thank goodness Tate is one of the three family members that has been spared!
Oh how I hate throwing up! I was SOOOO lucky not to have morning sickness with Tate. My abs are still sore. (Good thing part of my New Year's Resolution is to start exercising more.) Another is too drink more water, which I am already failling miserably. 2010 is off to a slow start for me, but it can only get better!

So sorry to hear you were sick! I HATE throwing up. I was pretty determined not to throw up when I was pregnant. I had a lot of nausea but never threw up. I'm a germ-a-phobe that is disgusted by the thought of touching a toilet...even mine lol
ReplyDeleteI'm not doing good with my resolutions either!
