Project 365: 30 and 31

January 30: I let my camera die and kept forgetting to recharge the batteries, so this weekend's pictures are all from my phone. Tate got up bright and early. We made peanut butter pancakes. Since Tate has a milk allergy, I made them with Bisquick and vanilla rice milk. I was the first time I had made them and they were interesting to say the least. Edible, but interesting.
January 31: We got about 8" total snowfall last week. Tate had fun stomping his boots on the way to the garage. We had to be really careful where we stepped... the dogs didn't venture too far out the backdoor with all the snow. I had his mittens on him, but he of course figured out how to get them off. His pirate hat is my favorite.
I have been attempting to make my brother a pair of pajama pants. He was jealous of Tate's KU fleece longies, so I was making him a cotton KU pair. I made a pattern based on his measurements and modeled off the pattern I used for Tate's, but I forgot to take into consideration this fabric didn't stretch. I had to make some alterations and Tate was happy to help.

  1. What a happy pancake ;-)

We didn't take Ethan out in the snow. I guess we're waiting until next year.

I always mess up when I try to make clothes and buy the wrong type of fabric.
