Two exciting things happened today: Mayer rolled over from his back to his tummy and Tate got to go turkey hunting with Daddy this morning. I tried to get a video of Mayer, but he would only roll to his side and suck his fingers for me. He's been rolling side-to-side for a week now, but this was the first time he made it all the way over. Michael even got Mayer to do it again so I could see it. I saw the roll, I just didn't have the camera ready that time. Maybe the third time will be the charm!
Michael got a late start hunting this morning, so Tate was awake when Daddy left the house and was devastated. I called Michael and he decided since he was already late, he would come back to get Tate. Tate was so excited! After he was dressed, he would only let me take his picture outside.
Michael said Tate talked the entire time. I am surprised Tate forgot to take his bow and arrows. They only stayed out about 20 minutes because it started raining. (Good thing Tate had on his rain boots!) They saw a few turkeys, but couldn't call them within bow range. Too bad! I was hoping for some baked turkey breasts for dinner tonight.
