Tate named this chick Apollo, for the Apollo 11 astronauts that were the first on the moon.
My brother, the urban farmer, has 4 chickens in his backyard. He just got another hen and her 7 chicks. Tate already named one hen Buzz Aldrin, so Apollo was only fitting!
Cute! We are getting chickens next month. Of course our will be full grown and ready to give us eggs. :-)
