In case you have noticed, it is HOT outside! Everyday there has been an "excessive heat warning" because of the 100+ degree temperatures. Hutchinson, Kansas logged the hottest temperature in the United States not once, but twice last week! That means it was hotter here than in Death Valley, California or Arizona!
After 26 days and counting with triple digit temperatures, we have given up on watering anything except the new trees we planted and the garden. As a result, we have three green patches in the lawn and the rest is fried.
How about a few pictures of the blizzard in March 2009 to cool us off?
