This is Doink, our Elf on the Shelf from 2010.
This year, Santa sent a new elf, Gingerman.
"It's not Doink, Mommy. His hair is different.... And maybe his eyes are different. They weren't blue last time."
Oh, really? Looks to me like the exact same elf I put in the box last year, but what do I know?! Christmas is a magical time and maybe I missed something!

ReplyDeletewell I wasn't about to spend $30 for the official Elf so I found one for $4 at Hobby Lobby today! I told Ethan to give it a name and it doesn't have one yet ;-)
