Happy 1st birthday, Mayer!

I cannot believe my baby is one! I didn't really get too emotional about it, which surprises me. Maybe because I haven't had time to think about it because we have been so busy. I put together a video of some of my favorite pictures during the past year. It was hard to keep it at a reasonable length!

  Mayer has changed so much during the past year, yet he still seems so tiny. He's walking, talking and has a HUGE personality for someone so small. I was hoping that he would make it to 20 lbs by his first birthday, but I'm not sure he made it.

Mayer has learned a new word and it is so cute! Disregard the mess in the background. He has free-reign behind my desk at work and he takes full advantage of it!

It is pretty hard to say no to that, but he is getting used to hearing it. Notice he doesn't want the water I give him. What he's really after are the cookies and sweets that our insurance agent brought us for Christmas. Mayer has a serious sweet tooth and is working on a few more!
