#freefromtrash Paper Ladies

Day 3: cereal box
We don't go through a lot of cereal at our house. Tate and my mom made this mailbox for Valentine's Day. Tate still pulls it out and looks through the notes and other artwork he stores in it.
Day 4: Phone book
I couldn't come up with a phone book because as soon as we get the new phone book, I throw the old one in the recycle. My mom says it's cheating, but I decided to showcase some of her artwork instead. She and a group of her friends are known as the "Paper Ladies". They use a lot of recycled items to make their art projects, especially paper products... book, dictionaries, encyclopedias, sheet music, etc. While none of my mom's pieces specifically use a phone book, you could easily use one for any of these projects.

These 7 ladies have some amazing pieces! I really should have invited them to do the challenge because they are so creative.

Just as I am finishing my post, I thought of something original to use with phone book pages! I do a lot of my sewing at work. I read somewhere that if you use a piece of tissue paper when sewing knits, the fabric won't get all wavy. Well, phone book pages are just as thin as tissue paper, so wouldn't they work just as well?!
