T-shirt Refashion

I graduated from Fort Hays State University. I'm proud of my school, there is just one problem... Victor E. Tiger is the mascot. Perhaps you don't know why tigers might be a problem for me, so I better explain. (If you know, you can skip the history lesson.) While I may have graduated from FSHU, I grew up a diehard University of Kansas fan. The Kansas State Wildcats are the in-state rival, but that rivalry pales in comparison to the Border Showdown. Kansas Jayhawks do NOT like Missouri Tigers. While it may have become a modern day sports rivalry, historically, it goes back much further. The Kansas-Missouri pre-Civil War battles marked a very violent time in both states' histories.
When I got this t-shirt for my birthday, I didn't see anything wrong with it. I was just supporting my alma mater, the Fort Hays State Tigers.
However, when my sister saw it, she said, "What the ....* are you wearing?!" (* She had to edit herself because children were present, but the implication was still there.) It was then I realized nowhere on the shirt did it specify the Tiger was referring to FHSU and not Mizzou. The school colors are also the same, black and gold. Several other people mentioned it too. Something had to be done! Sew... I had some fabric scraps that matched the color scheme and I came up with a solution.
Whew, much better! Now I can wear my shirt with FHSU pride!
Sang before every football and basketball game...
"In heaven there is no beer.
That's why we drink it here (Right Here!)
When we're gone from here,
all our friends will be drinking all our beer!" :)
