Sewing Blunders

I have made a few blunders lately. I guess I've been in a hurry trying to get birthday and Christmas presents made that I haven't been paying close attention to details.
One of the shirts I made for Mayer's birthday still had a straight pin in it! Thankfully it stabbed my brother's hand and not Mayer. ;)

I was in such a hurry to resize a men's dress shirt to wear to a Christmas party that I didn't really measure the length of the sleeves before I reattached them. I noticed when I tried it on that the sleeves were about 2" too short! I wore it any way. The next day I realized that not only did I make the sleeves too short, but also I attached one inside-out!!

I guess I better start paying closer attention to those details since most of the Christmas presents we are giving will be homemade!
