I was trying to come up with a picture for today and I found one that happened to be exactly 8 years ago. It was from my wedding shower. In attendance: my mom, my mamaw, my sister, my future mother-in-law, my future aunt-in-law, my future sister-in-law, a friend (who was only in town because her shower had been the day before) and her future mother-in-law. That's it. No one else showed up.
I didn't even have a shower! We also got married on Memorial Day (the actual day was Sunday in 2004) and not many people showed up for that either since it was a holiday weekend. That's ok though, what matters is to have the people there who really care right?
ReplyDeleteaw, i would have come!! but chari's right--it's better to have the people who REALLY care, rather than a bunch of people who care a little, right??!!
