I always hate the last day- the packing and cleaning! This time coming back to Kansas would be even worse because of the weather. It was nice and cool in Colorado and we knew we would be returning to hot and muggy (hence the reason for Tate's silly looking outfit). He and Mimi had to throw just a few more rocks and sticks in the stream before we left.
My mom sat in the back with Tate on the way home. To keep him occupied, she let him play with her lipstick and lip gloss. It really helped to have her along for the ride home.
