Great Cloth Diaper Change

Last Saturday was the Great Cloth Diaper Change! To celebrate Earth Day and promote cloth diapering, participants in fourteen countries met at designated locations to change babies into 100% reusable diapers. We were also attempting to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records. The most exciting part for me was there were two locations very close by to choose from. Just in the last several months, the largest city in the state of Kansas, Wichita, finally got not one, but TWO cloth diaper stores!
I chose to participate in the change at Sweet Cheeks. They had it outside and it was pretty chilly. Thank goodness I had put some leg warmers on Mayer! There were 41 other mommies and daddies at that location. The other cloth diaper store had 50 participants. I have never met any other cloth diapering families in the area, other than both stores' owners, so I was really surprised that there were 90. I have read a few unofficial reports that we did break the world record, but the official website hasn't posted the final numbers or results.
