This is the third year in a row the Elf on the Shelf has visited our house. According to Tate, this is the third elf Santa has sent. He sort of looks like the first elf, "Doink" but just a little different and he doesn't really look like "Gingerman," the elf from last year. It must be part of the Christmas magic because I'm sure they have all been EXACTLY the same elf. :)
Tate noticed Apollo on our mantel the Friday after Thanksgiving. He didn't make a spectacular entrance because he was carrying Tate's Christmas music with him... "He brought back Michael Buble' and the Little People CDs!!" The elf, Christmas music and books are the only holiday things we have out in the house right now. We are going to wait until after December 8 (Mayer's 2nd birthday) to decorate for Christmas. Mayer probably wouldn't care if we decorated before, but I want to make his birthday special.
We caught Apollo eating Halloween candy in the pantry.
Here, he was getting ready for take off when he got caught.
One morning, we found him reading Sesame Street books with the Sesame Street gang. Tate noticed that Oscar was reading an Oscar book; Elmo was reading an Elmo book, etc, so when I went home at lunch, I switched all of the books. :)
Super Apollo has been my favorite!
He stormed the castle!
