At 5:15, Mayer opened his first present on the potty frog. (We haven't gotten serious about potty training yet. He usually tells us, "uh-oh" after he has gone.) He had already been awake for 30 minutes when Tate woke up.
This is not quite the reaction I expected. He did shout, "BATMAN!" after he put it on.
I made the pattern and the shirt, so I was super excited about it.
I made his hat and pants too.
In typical Sarah fashion, I had cake issues.
It worked out, after a special trip 6 AM to the grocery store.
He had a family party.
Playing with the play-do from Mimi and Papa. He found a Santa Claus cookie cutter, "Ho! Ho! Ho!"
We forgot that we ran out of birthday candles! Luckily, Michael was able to find a package of tea lights. Mayer insisted on putting it on his cake.
The tea lights became the centerpiece after the kids were finished with them.
My mom, sister and I unintentionally dressed alike for the party!
We had two parties on Saturday! The other was Michael's Fraternal Order of Police Christmas party. Mayer loved Santa Claus.
As Santa was leaving, Mayer ran after him for an extra hug!
Tate and his (girl)friend, Rylynn at the Christmas party. (Tate looks huge, but they are really just a few months apart in age.)
