Not A Wordless Wednesday: Basketball in Kansas

It's one of my favorite times of year- March Madness!
Last Saturday, we were a house divided when Kansas and Kansas State University played in the Big XII Championship basketball game. While the best team won, we should be proud of what both teams accomplished (so far) this season. We may not always get along with our in-state rivals, but Kansas really is "the best college basketball state..."!
Just an FYI, the article only talks about the Men's Division I basketball programs, but this March, there are 10 college basketball programs representing the state of Kansas in national tournaments! (I hope I didn't miss any!) Kansas also hosts the NJCAA Division I Men's and Women's tournaments.
NCAA Division I Men's teams: Kansas, Kansas State and Wichita State
NCAA Division I Women's teams: Kansas and Wichita State
Women's NIT: Kansas State
NCAA Division II Women's team: Emporia State (lost in the Sweet 16)
NJCAA Division I Men's teams: Hutchinson (lost in the first round) and Coffeyville Community Colleges (won in the first round)
NJCAA Division I Women's team: Hutchinson Community College
Happy March Madness! :)
