Mad for Plaid Refashion #3

I found a pair of plaid shorts in a bag of clothes my mom's friend gave me to refashion.They still had the tags on them. I thought they looked more fall/ winter colored. There are green and gold stripes that don't show up well in the picture.

Now that I've refashioned them, I think I liked them better as shorts. Perhaps because I'm not sure what looks good with them. I have tried them with leggings, but I'm not sure I like the look.
