Baby leg warmers

I love leg warmers. I put them under the boys' clothes when it's cold or just let Tate run around the house in them. They will be helpful if we keep working on potty training. The one thing I don't like is the cost. We have 6 pairs between the boys and 3 different brands. They were all purchased on sale.
I was reading a blog and mentioned a tutorial to make your own. I couldn't get the link to load, so I searched on my own and found different one. I got 3 pair of knee socks last weekend for $2 a pair at Target. I really wanted a few other pairs, but they were $7 each. That's still cheaper than the name brand leg warmers, but that seemed pricey for a pair of socks! They are huge on Mayer, so now I need to find some in a smaller size. Here's my pictorial.
Yes, I used a Winnie the Pooh ruler as a straight edge. :o)

There were so many cute knee socks in girlie prints! I think I see a few pair for my nieces in the near future: Lily, the artistic, free-spirit in fashion and  Julianna, who is also potty training. :o)

  2. OOOOhhh, I like this! Not sure how I feel about baby legs for boys though. I could totally have fun with this for a girl though. :-)
