Project 366: Days 5-10

I didn't mean to get behind, but end of the year is always crazy at work!
 Day 5: Cute shoes
My parents found these for Mayer for Christmas. They don't fit very well, but you can see why I like them. Both Tate and Mayer have thick feet. Their feet aren't really wide, but they have a thick instep. It makes it hard to find cute shoes. I feel like I'm trying to fit Cinderella's tiny glass slipper on her step-sisters giant feet.

Last week, I posted about having trouble getting Mayer to eat. He ate really well at dinner Friday night. Both boys enjoyed eating and wearing their ravioli.

Day 6: Messy Italian Food
(The wet spots are from spilling his milk.)
Tate played his first basketball game on Saturday. He is on the same team as his cousin, Drew. Drew played last year and is almost 5, so he has a little better understanding of what is going on. I had let Tate watch a little of the KU game earlier in the week. He told me he was going to shoot it up like T-Rob. None of the pictures are very good because I forgot my camera. The picture in the middle is my favorite.
Day 7: Hands Up On Defense
Basketball looked like so much fun to my niece Lily, that she decided to organize a basketball game. We were at my parents' house to celebrate my mom's birthday. I heard her recruiting during lunch, but I wasn't really paying attention. I went out to check out their game and I started cracking up when I saw she had also organized team uniforms! All of the little ones are wearing my dad's t-shirts.
Day 8: Cranky Ball Team Pictures
The kids were all pretty cranky and most of game was played with someone in tears. They all took turns crying and whining, which is the only thing they took turns doing!

Drew didn't want any girls on the team, so he wouldn't take a team picture with the rest of them.
 Tate versus Papa.

By the way, Lily isn't wearing any shoes because she didn't have anything cute that matched her outfit. (The one under her jersey.)
 Day 9: Brother Kisses
It looks like a bite, but it's a sweet, slobbery kiss!
Day 10: Moon-set
The full moon was so gorgeous this morning!
